I See You, Barcelona
A project in collaboration with #HomelessEntrepreneur and Chiringuito de Dios, Barcelona about meeting the people you look at but don’t sometimes “see” or connect with. The portraits of homeless people were a fundraiser at the opening of the exhibition on June 14th 2017, 19.30-22h, at Arteria, c/Bruc 147, Barcelona.
The focus is always on la mirada
Thank you everyone who joined me and my art and help me fundraise for the homeless. I was overwhelmed by the support! I am currently looking for new galleries to exhibit this series with new portraits from Barcelona. If you would like to show and fundraise let me know at email@example.com
This street project features 50 painted portraits of people in Barcelona, especially Passeig de Gracia & Raval, amazing people with interesting stories and faces:
Who do you have a connection with?
What are the barriers between you and the other?
What is holding you back and what gives you the go ahead-make contact sign?
- Young and old
- Locals and expats
- Tourists on holiday
- People at work
- Homeless people – #homelessModel via #HomelessEntrepreneur
You will be able to hear the sounds of Barcelona, see the streets of Barcelona as well as meet the people in the portraits, both in painting as in real life during exhibitions.
All the portraits are 50x70cm, painted with acrylics on cardboard mounted on a wooden frame and finished with the glossy varnish. You will find examples on my workpage.
Price: 250 euros each. all profits from the homeless people go back to the homeless vía associations I work with.
Would you like to know which portraits are still available and the options of having them in your space to sell or to buy let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
